Brain Tumour Support’s aim is that no-one feels alone when facing the effects of a brain tumour diagnosis. The charity’s dedicated to being there for patients, carers, friends and families following a brain tumour diagnosis.
They offer an individualised support service which provides specialist information, practical guidance, emotional support, help coping with bereavement and much more.
Crucially, help is there for as long as it is needed, and that can often be years.

We are a small group made up of carers in the South Gloucestershire area. We meet once a week, in Kingswood (Wednesdays at Kingswood Community Centre 1-3pm) and Yate (Tuesdays at the Parish Hall 10.30am-12.30pm) alernately. We sing a range of rounds, vocal exercises and short pieces, and perform occasionally, often teaming up with Bitton Community Choir. The choir is open to anyone who is a carer in South Gloucestershire, and is a laid back, friendly environment. On weeks where we dont sing, the choir often meets up for a coffee regardless, and we enjoy our end of term social get-togethers!
