Creative Youth Network

We encourage young people to challenge the barriers they face by engaging with the arts. Young people from all backgrounds, including those who are financially deprived or have experienced abuse, and those who live with a disability. We get them involved, thinking, doing, creating... discovering their potential. We aim high: we work with world class artists and high quality youth workers to inspire, challenge, encourage and support.

St Stephen's (Soundwell) Drama Group

We are an amateur dramatics group, producing 2 shows per year, usually a pantomime in January and a play or other show in May/June for the local community to watch. The group meets on Tuesday evenings from 7.45pm, and we are always looking for new members, whatever age, and even if acting isn't for you, what about taking part behind the scenes?

The Kingswood Players

The Kingswood Players are Kingswood's local theatre group, our rehearsal base is The West Hall, behind Kingswood Holy Trinity Church and our productions are presented at Kingswood Community Centre. We present three productions per season as well as numerous social events and fund raisers for other organisations.


The Woodland Players

We are an award-winning drama group based in Kingswood, Bristol. We usually produce two drama productions a year, including a Pantomime around Christmas and a play in the spring/summer. We also put on ad-hoc productions such as Murder Mystery evenings at various times in the year.

We welcome members from the age of 12 onwards and meet every week for rehearsals. Everyone is welcome to join at any time, there’s always plenty to do whether it’s acting, building or painting scenery, costumes or being an hidden star backstage! Whatever your talent is, we’re sure you can use it here.
