Connecting Kingswood is an initiative set up in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council and other lead community groups in Kingswood. Connecting Kingswood aims to strengthen and grow Kingswood’s local community.
The Women's Institute plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities. Kingswood WI meet at 7.30pm on the second Thursday of each month at Hanham Road Congregational Church Hall.

Kingswood Y's Men's Club is part of Y's Men International, a YMCA affiliated service and community organisation with over 29,000 members in over 1,500 clubs worldwide. Despite the name "Y's Men" the club is not exclusively a male preserve and is open to all members of the community.

We have been running since 1939 and currently have over 35 members), both men and women, and we are keen to welcome new members. Our President would like us to increase our support to the local community and raise as much money as possible for our chosen charities, whilst making sure that we enjoy Rotary.
We are a vibrant organisation with over 4500 members, whose aim is to improve the lot of older people in the South Gloucestershire Area. We enjoy strong support from local Councils and are strictly non-political. We hold regular meetings with speakers on a wide range of subjects pertinent to the needs of older people.
We exist to bring together people from the Chinese communities to identify their needs and try to meet those needs through the setting up of projects. We provide facilities and support in the interest of social welfare and promote culture exchange and harmony in the community.

A local community project, we offer affordable room hire for groups, classes and events. Large spacious rooms, kitchen facilities, car park and disabled access available.
