Around once a month, we send an email newsletter to anyone who would like to receive it, letting them know what's new on MyKingswood - new competitions, new businesses and groups, and new things to see and do.

The latest newsletter is below, but if you'd like to get your own copy e-mailed to you, sign up here!

Hi everyone!

This November commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War and Armistice Day - see our World War 1 feature to find out how to tour the Garden of Poppies, attend Remembrance Services, join a Parade and enjoy a free Bristol Veterans brass band concert.

Also, visit Kingswood Heritage Museum to see the Roll of Honour dedicated to local men who gave their lives in the conflict, as part of the museum's First World War exhibition.

Congratulations to the Friends of Kingswood Park, who've won a Royal Horticultural Society award for 'advancing' progress in improving our surroundings.

How's your health? Get expert advice at Kings Chase Shopping Centre and find out how our health care is provided at the latest South Glos Over 50's Forum Open Meeting.

Could you help a family, with young children, who are struggling to cope? Sign up now for a new Home Start Bristol Volunteer Preparation Course to boost your confidence and your employment prospects.

Also this November, enjoy two Noel Coward performances from The Woodland Players, and support local traders and crafts people by stocking up on Christmas goodies at the Windmill Winter Craft Fair.

See our events calendar for more November events in and around Kingswood - and let us know what you'd like to advertise.

Best wishes,

Claire
