The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is the international centre of excellence for the art of hand embroidery and teaches a wide range of courses for beginners through to advanced.
If you are thinking of learning a new skill, take a closer look at the renowned Royal School of Needlework which teaches in Bristol. Famous worldwide for its expertise and iconic embroidery projects including HRH The Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress and the Coronation Robe of HM The Queen, the RSN’s Tutors have unrivalled expertise.
RSN Bristol teaches short courses in a variety of hand embroidery techniques including Introductions in Embroidery, Silk Shading, Crewelwork and Stumpwork. For students who wish to develop their skills further and gain a qualification, RSN Bristol also teaches the Certificate & Diploma in Technical Hand Embroidery.
The specialist embroidery school will be holding an Open Day at its Bristol school, where visitors will be able to see some of the beautiful hand embroideries created by RSN students and find out more about the courses on offer.
RSN Bristol is located in a converted 18th Century school house on the Kingswood Foundation Estate.

It can appeal to so many people for all different reasons. We offer Day Classes for anyone who wishes to dip their toe in the water through to the Certificate & Diploma in Technical Hand Embroidery for students who wish to completely submerge themselves in this traditional skill.”
